At Poulsbo Tutoring, we work with students locally and nationwide for in-person and virtual/remote learning. Our model turns the traditional tutoring style on its head as we focus on Connection Before Content.™ Our intuitive, compassionate, and unique strategies help us ensure the best approach for our students to overcome learning obstacles often intricately intertwined with self-confidence and self-esteem. 

Our entire team is certified through the National Tutoring Association. Owner, Teresa, also serves the tutoring industry as the Special Media Liaison for Small Businesses and as a Senior Board Member for the National Tutoring Association. Poulsbo Tutoring is also a member of the National Test Prep Association keeping the prep team involved in current trends and training updates for students preparing for the SAT or ACT. You may see Poulsbo Tutoring popping up in various publications as Teresa also works as a business coach training, mentoring, and consulting with tutors growing their businesses.

The first step when connecting with us is a private consultation with Teresa. No student is the same, nor is their journey to academic transformation. Our team has experience working with a wide variety of students and their unique needs, whether that is in person in Poulsbo, or online!

We also offer academic consulting for families who are homeschooling, attending Running Start, trade schools, and even those preparing for the military entrance exam, ASVAB or preparing for the GED. 

In addition to academic acceleration, every student’s package includes:
